Myself and my entire family have always brought our animals here. NEVER AGAIN! Late September they diagnosed my sisters dog with a torn acl. Our sweet Madre. They informed my sister it would be ok to save and prepare for surgery. My sister saved and made sure madre would get the surgery. $5000. Come December she calls for madres go to. Her consultation is set for January 4th. Unfortunately by late December madres leg became swollen. I would not recommend them because my dog just died and they did nothing to try treat my dog. I very angry with this place.
Have been a long- term client and something has changed with the practice management. Highly recommend Dr. Larsen but am leaving practice. Appointments are extremely difficult to get, messages aren’t returned, follow-up is lacking and receptionists give veterinary advice which I believe is malpractice. Ever since the practice was sold by Dr. Smyth, the personal attention is gone. Practice seems to have turned into a corporate money making in/out enterprise. I have been a long time dedicated customer to bph both for my rescue and personal animals. I absolutely enjoy seeing Dr Meyer and multiple other vets there. However over the past 2ish years there have been more and more problems there. Multiple of my fosters will not ever go back there and I've tried to stay despite all the problems for urgent care but even the extended hours are barely worth it anymore. I have no idea what is going on there but I definitely don't recommend them anymore.
they are not organized. used to be good and now they are so busy I don't feel taken care of esp after paying thousands of dollars there this year and still not having the right diagnosis.
I’m very frustrated again with Beechmont Pet Hospital. My family and I have been a long time client and was just told today that my injured dog will have to come to Urgent Care tonight. I asked if they were down a veterinarian and was told they are getting the over flow from other vets which is the issue. I have been very loyal to Beechmont Pet Hospital but I’m never able to get my 4 animals in when they are sick because they are taking other people who are from another vet. Update 2020. Something has changed here at this vet. They only seem to care about money not about the health of your pet. I brought my dog in 2 days ago and they got me in to see a vet within an hour. Ran some lab work based of a fecal sample I brought and sent us home with a few different prescriptions. Last night my other dog became as ill as the first dog, exact same symptoms. I sat for 30 minutes in my car waiting for them to get my dog to trim her nails. I watched them take in two dogs that got there after we did. If they were late for their appointment it should be canceled or they should have to wait. I’ll take my business elsewhere.
