Before you become wooed by the beautiful building ask to meet and sit down with head nurse - ask about family involvement - she wants none - she is controlling and a bully. The director shows no professionalism and never takes action but blames her staff. The salespeople give misleading info. There is no communication among staff and if you question them they are very rude. My family lasted 10 days and they are still billing us and they haven't been there for 3 months. Bella Rose is not a good place for seniors. Lack of respect, understanding and the ability to listen. I was given the wrong medication for 2 weeks. They would not listen even yelled at me over it. Another resident locked herself out and they told her they would get to it when they got to it. She was sitting outside her door on the floor when I went by. Not a friendly accommodating place overall
We were unimpressed with the community and didn't feel comfortable with it.
I would not recommend this community at all for your loved one. The staff were not qualified and they promised that they would have someone qualified taking care of my loved one and this is not what happen. This community did not deliver what all I needed.
nothing i type is being allowed to post no matter how i word any of it, i give up at least my one star may go through if i meet the minimum characters.
Don't move here. The billing was a mess and we are still having issues with them and the billing. Communication is not good at first they were great with sending info and updates about the community and what they're about and then when you pay the deposit the communication stops. I would not recommend this community to others. Maintenance issues were not addressed quickly also. The food was horrible and we had to pay out of pocket to feed my loved one due to the food being so bad.
Look beyond the fancy, new building! Nothing but problems since my parent moved in when they opened. Problems with incorrect/missed medication administration. No communication from staff when issues. Attrition of executive director and nursing director in just 3 months. Only RN is by consultation only. CNA's administer medication. All we asked for was correct administration of easy medications, bathing assist, clean clothes, assurance of three meals a day and communication with family.
