We brought our 6mo old bearded dragon in because he seemed listless and was dragging his leg. They did an amazing job diagnosing him and he is doing so much better now! He is so full of energy and putting on weight - we're grateful for the genuine care they showed for our little guy and the good advice. They also gave us pricing on diagnostics and procedures upfront which was very considerate.

I spoke to an Animal Clinic regarding a strange feather on my birds wing that needed attention. At first they were unavailable but called me back within 5 minutes and gave me an appointment. Plug into google maps and off I go for my hour long drive, pull into this parking lot ... call inside to let them know we were here, but we were at the wrong vet.... OMG. What had I done . The vet I was talking with on the phone advised me where I was is also an avian vet and that they should be able to help me. So I go inside thi... read more

Thank you Denise! We are so glad we could help you get Miss Gracie sorted out, and we really appreciate the kind review!
I've volunteered at no-kill shelters since I was 15 years old (I'm almost 50 now) & I've known a lot of veterinarians (even have one for a family member) & DrBradley Bays is the most incredible vet I've ever seen (that includes the great ones on TV as well). She's an actual board certified exotic vet. She authored books, many articles etc. I'm NOT easily impressed (I'm aware I'm extremely high maintenance ESPECIALLY when it involves my children & fur babies) & she is amazing. She's not only highly intelligent & well trained ... read more
FANTASTIC! Dr. Teresa Bradley-Bays is a miracle worker! I had a Dutch rabbit who frequently suffered from painful skin abscesses. I took him to see several specialists in Johnson County. After many expensive and invasive treatments, the poor little guy hadn't improved a bit. So, I made the long drive to Belton, and it was worth it! Dr. Bradley-Bays's alternative therapy worked like a charm. After just one visit, his abscesses began to disappear--and they never returned. Also, the Belton Clinic's staff is friendly, professi... read more

I am so thankful to this place I had to put my dog down due to age , Dr Anderson and Melissa treated Pedro like the special little guy he was, they put me at ease and were extra gentle with me and Pedro's emotions I wouldn't take my animal anywhere else
Business response:
Hello J R., Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We know your last visit to us wasn't easy, they're never easy for us either. It really means a lot to know that we were able to provide you comfort and care, and we want you to know how much we appreciate your trust. We hope you find comfort in your sweet Pedro's memory.
We started coming to Belton Animal Clinic as new chinchilla owners years ago and from our first visit we'd felt we were in good hands. The staff is extremely caring, knowledgeable, and friendly. We boarded our chinchilla with them every time we had to go out of town and they always cared for him like he was their own. They really became like extended family to us. We lost Shinobou this year, suddenly, and the staff was there for us again coaching on how to get through his crisis and even comforting us when we lost that battl... read more
We drove a ways away and paid a hefty price (even though they did give us a discount for our first visit) for this vet but I'm actually glad we did. The staff was welcoming and kind and they quickly helped us through our paperwork so we could start the appointment. We had a nurse and a doctor look at our hamster when he was very sick and they were very careful and sweet to him. They also explained everything to us as they were working and helped us learn how to treat him. Unfortunately, our hamster did not make it but we wer... read more
We have always taken our cats to a general practitioner vet for their annual checkups. But that has always been so stressful they were only able to give them their shots and a quick feel. This year we brought them to the Belton Animal Clinic which provides a much calmer and low stress environment. Dr Bradley Bays did a full exam on our feral cat and she was as calm as I have ever seen her. She was so still that during her exam they were able to find a very sever hernia the size of a small apple on her lower abdomen. No oth... read more
