RecommendedMy experience here was really a yes & no, as to whether I would recommend you go here. The receptionist is definitely rude on the phone. However, no one is rude @ the office & no one wears name tags so you don't know who you are talking to. The estimate for the work to be done was not exact & had a huge gap on how much it could be. When lady called for estimate , she did not tell me the expected out of pocket was due day of procedure . When I arrived , receptionist asked for payment and was higher than amount in the original quoted price . Because I did not make out of pocket , we were turned away . I have two insurance and was not even ran through insurance yet . There was another lady there checking in for her appointment that was not told either . I’m sure the surgeon is wonderful at his craft, but I did not look forward to this appointment due to some of the front office being brisk and unpleasant. I’ve decided not to move forward with any scheduling due to this.

The day before my initial consultation that I waited months for I called to see if they had received my records from my dentist that they were supposed to request and they had not done it. I called my dentist and they sent what they could electronically. I arrived for my appointment and they wanted to do another panoramic scan and I told them no I just had one done and my insurance would not cover another one. I had surgery in April 2023 and was informed that i needed to pay the amount that my insurance wouldn’t cover prior to the surgery. This was completed and to my surprise I was sent a second bill after the surgery. When I called after receiving the bill to question why I was being charged extra I was informed that my insurance did not cover all of the cost. They checked my benefits and told me how much the surgery would cost. I paid that amount and imagine my surprise when I get another bill stating I owe $641 more dollars!

Beware - they do not check whether insurance covers your initial consultation even though I sent my insurance information several days beforehand. My insurance denied the claim and I have a $450 bill for a consultation that solved none of my TMJ issues. Update - After calling a few times, the office worked with me to reduce the bill a bit to a more fair outcome ($275). Had only bottom two wisdom teeth removed yesterday (the top two grew in fine). Doc advised me to have all of them pulled and I said screw that; not paying for something to be fixed that clearly isn't broken. Staff was nice enough but all very short with me.
