They checked my benefits and told me how much the surgery would cost. I paid that amount and imagine my surprise when I get another bill stating I owe $641 more dollars!

Beware - they do not check whether insurance covers your initial consultation even though I sent my insurance information several days beforehand. My insurance denied the claim and I have a $450 bill for a consultation that solved none of my TMJ issues. Update - After calling a few times, the office worked with me to reduce the bill a bit to a more fair outcome ($275). It's still a steep price for 15-minute consultation, but I accepted the middle ground and paid up. It's now been over 2 1/2 months and I have not woken up ... read more

Had only bottom two wisdom teeth removed yesterday (the top two grew in fine). Doc advised me to have all of them pulled and I said screw that; not paying for something to be fixed that clearly isn't broken. Staff was nice enough but all very short with me. Felt kind of judged in the office because I'm a 19 year old who took initiative over my own teeth and made the decision on my own (without parents present at all; like I've been doing on my own for the past year and a half).
