We got breakfast today and it was delicious. I had the Carmel Cinnamon French Toast! It was so delicious! My best friend ordered the Big Boy and fries. Besides the French Toast delight! The atmosphere was really nice and they decorated the whole restaurant for Valentine's Day which was very pretty and festive! This place was so busy! I hate that a lot of them are closing up! Had a yummy experience having breakfast at Big Boy! When we arrived, we were sat promptly. Our server was very kind and seemed super happy to be at work, which always adds a nice vibe. The hash browns were perfectly cooked as were the eggs. My country fried steak was slightly tough, but still good. Overall, we had a great time, and are looking forward to coming back to experience the buffet.
Very good Big boy! Better than the Culver's butter burger I had the day before. Slim Jim was good also.

I haven't eaten in a Big Boy in nearly 3 decades as there aren't many around anymore. My server has worked at this location for 39 years! I had the patty melt with onion rings. The onion rings were okay. The batter had a corn meal consistency which is not my preference. However the patty melt was very good. Perfect toast with a juicy patty and cheese
If you are looking for a longtime chain restaurant that has consistently solid food and great customer service, this is the place to go in Fort Gratiot. I love the wait staff here. They go above and beyond. Maybe I am biased because she is a close family friend, but Annie has been my favorite for years (though I haven't seen her lately). Last night my Mom and I were coming home from Port Sanilac and we really wanted something for dinner. It was nearly 10:30pm so not much was open so we were delighted to see a Big Boy open. This was by far the cleanest and friendliest Big Boy I have been to. For late evening, the salad bar was nicely stocked.
