Our waiiter , Cole was great, spinach omelette could have used a little more spinach n feta, otherwise good breakfast. Loved the rye toast
The food was very much like a Denny's or similar. The service was good, and the restaurant had a very old diner feel. A visit is recommended. :)
The best Big Boy my mom and I have to in 30 years. My mom walks with a cane as soon as we walked in we were greeted and they asked if a chair would beore comfortable. The bathroom was very well maintained. The salad bar wash frah hot soup very clean. The floor was spotless. Tables and booths were clean Our waitress Mel was very attentive and personable and instead of refilling mom's coffee she gave a fresh cup from the new pot
I don't usually write reviews but I feel the employees at Fort Gratiot Big Boy need a big pat on the back and thank you. It is truly amazing to sit and watch how special each customer is treated and made to feel like a friend. The atmosphere is personal and warm. Hey and the food is great!!! First cruise in of 2017 Big Boy classic & fries, food was great as well as the service
Great place for a weekend brunch. U sit here relaxed eat all you can in the 'All You Can Eat Brunch!' I had been there for Easter brunch buffet and it was a hearty meal. Fish shrimps soups salads eggs fruits deserts all that I want for a relaxed weekend. Sure for another visit!
When I go to Big Boy in Port Gratiot, I can never decide if I want the delicious breakfast buffet or something from the menu. My husband has tried the Fish & Chips and Triple Decker Sandwich. Most times i hit the breakfast buffet and the pancakes are so good.
My husband and I come here when we can't agree on whether we're in the mood for breakfast or lunch! My husband loves the burgers & soups, and I always order the pancakes -- they have a slight sweet taste to them that all the other chain restaurants don't have, and it's delicious! The desserts all look amazing, but I can't say for sure, because we are always beyond full by the time we finish our meals -- the portions are very generous!!! Great service and friendly staff. The staff makes sure you are happy with the food. No better diner in the area. Staff also remembers you. They will allow you to order a reduced portion without any issues. Food comes fast and fresh. I can't call it gourmet but it is good! Also a great well kept all you can eat breakfast bar which my so loves.
