I felt communication really lacked this time around. When we first started we were told that we would close around end of November. When that time came I heard nothing from anyone about it possibly taking longer. I had to call several times to see what was going on.

It occasionally took multiple days and attempts of outreach to get a hold of the team to have questions answered. Conversations felt rushed and made me feel less important.

Billy was horrible to work with and made our lending experience very stressful and difficult. Genie his assistant was even worse to work with and kept sending us the same documents to sign over and over again. We repeatedly told them we would be on vacation a week in August and Genie harassed us our whole vacation. She made multiple mistakes on our documents and ultimately the both of them messed up our loan amount so we were not able to close on our expected closing date. I would not recommend

Better communication from team, specially with call backs. I called and left messages on 3 different occasions during business hours, before 2pm even, and did not receive a call back. Phones do not get answered after 4:45pm. Overall everyone in the team was easy to work with and very polite. My biggest complaint is the lack of follow up or call back.

The experience was good until our file was handed to Genie! She was requesting info but when we asked for info she would not answer us. Then 3 working days before closing she called all concerned and said that the closing needed to be extended 1 to 2 days. We found out she wanted our current bank statement, which Billie had, the only reason she called us was because I had called title company. To see if they received final numbers, I have a lot more to say about the transaction but won’t let me.

The underwriting process was extremely stressful from one thing to another. Extremely frustrating. I did not even know if they were going to close my loan until 4 days before closing.

I was unable to do docu sighn on alot of documents. Also a day before closing i had to verify a couple thing. I would of not had a issue with verifying but i had to sit on hold for a long time.

We have bought a house and refinanced before and i would say the process was 50x more difficult and time consuming with this company as our lender. The review will only allow 500 characters so i cant leave specifics but i would never use or recommend this lender.

need for more information. underwriter always requesting 1 more item. they should look at the file get all the needs and ask one time not the daily request for additional info. Also the request for my son Steve Schierenberg to write a letter stating he was not me and his home in Tempe AZ was not mine , thank God my name was not Johnson, Jones , or Smith. the request for info on my IRA were also ridiculous.. I have never worked so had to get loan approval. I have owned over 8 homes
