We have been using Bluebird Care for several years now. Starting from my mother's recovery from a minor stroke to advanced dementia now, in her 90s. They have always supported us wonderfully, everyday care is almost always carried out to a superb standard. Often going significantly above and beyond. Increasing needs have been met far quicker than we would expect. The inevitable crises that find us have been met without demur. Packages put in place rapidly and effectively.

Bluebird Care, Eastbourne was recommended to us a few years ago after my mother-in-law spent some time in respite care after a fall. Her previous home 'carers' were anything but and we wanted better for her. I cannot praise Bluebird highly enough. From keeping her and her flat clean and sweet smelling to the professional yet gentle ways they treated her, always respecting her slightly eccentric preferences and wishes which stemmed from her decline into dementia. All the carers we have had have been kind and professional in dealing with a sometimes difficult situation. Although you only ask for a review of one month we have had carers for a number of years from Bluebird Care who have all been good apart from one hiccup, which was sorted very quickly! They have improved on communicating with the client on any changes to the schedule of care.

When moving Dad down from Birmingham to Eastbourne, the constant back and forth from other organisations and the liaisingwith Bluebird, was a lot to take in. But the support from Bluebird, the constant reassurance and the feeling of my dad feeling empowered regarding his care, couldn't be faulted. Excellent service for my father on a daily basis to ensure medication is taken and performing various caring tasks, as required. Initially not very keen to have carers he now looks forward to visits and has very good relationships with his carers. Huge care is taken to provide team continuity so that trust and friendships are established. Bluebird Care took over caring for my great aunt at short notice before Christmas and have been completely reliable and helpful ever since. My great aunt often compliments the staff and she is so pleased with the care that she is receiving.
