This place was fantastic. The location was more valuable than we could have imagined, with being steps from the beach and grassy cliff overlooking the water and coastline. People fight for parking spots along this street every hour of the day, and we were so fortunate to just walk out of the house and down to the boardwalk. We did not use our rental car nearly as much as we thought we would for this reason; the beach was too beautiful and fun. Great place, as advertised, updated, spacious, comfortable. Bluewater is a professional management company and the check-in, Comms, and check-out processes were all seamless. We admittedly struggled with the homeless encampment out front. In talking with the neighbors, a situation that is a know issue, and the SD PD are continuing to monitor and deal with. I can’t in good faith not comment on it in this review, as it impacted our stay.

The house was great -- three roomy bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and a really big kitchen. Even more impressive was the proximity to the beach -- it was even closer than we expected. The management company (Bluewater Vacation Homes) is right in the neighborhood and did an amazing job of communicating with us before and during our stay to make sure our check-in/out and stay went smoothly. Would absolutely rent this house again!

536 Sea Lane is a beautiful property located very close to the beach and cafes/shops. It’s also about a 5 min drive the La Jolla centre. The house was very clean and was easy to get in and out of. Lots of parking spaces for cars both in the garage and on the drive. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need. There’s also towels, toiletries and bathroom/kitchen paper provided, which is a plus. The only downside is the AC. It didn’t seem to work the whole time we were there. The place was perfect for our family vacation. The property is very well maintained and has all the requisite amenities, plus a hot tub and a ping pong table. There was plenty of room for our five adult couples, and the location can’t be beat (a block from the beach, in the heart of La Jolla Shores). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The home was exactly as advertised and was clean and the street was quiet. And we were always able to find parking on the street even in July. Within walking distance of Children’s swimming tide pool and you got to see the Sea Lions and Seals nap on the beach in their habitat. With in walking distance of food, shops and books. Would totally book again.

My group was the first renter in this beautiful home. Perfect location to walk to the beach and great restaurants - all within a 5 minute walk. Can comfortably fit 4 cars (2 cars in the garage and 2 cars in the driveway). 5 rooms with sleeping arrangements - bunk bedroom access is through the master bedroom. Very clean and quiet at night. Rooftop access is a nice plus and really appreciate the small welcome gifts from the host.
