"Across the board, poor service" The vehicle ended up needing more than I thought, that happens, I'm ok with that. I was quoted $750+ for "all work already done and for what you need still". The bill was over $900 with no explanation. The tire pressure light was on when I came and that was the issue, Seven hours and $900 later when I went to leave the tire light was still on. "Service performed incompletely. " Wait was too long and service performed partly.. the car was taken back to complete repairs resulting in long unnecessary wait. When I asked if the tires were checked for air pressure, I was told that there was an entire checklist of tasks the mechanic had completed. Onmy way home the flat tire light came on, because the air pressure was low in all tires.

"Long drive, no resolution, come back another day" I made an appointment for a Saturday, explaining in detail that I needed an inspection and that my service engine (exhaust) was lit. When I arrived, the man at the desk said that he didn't have a master tech at work to perform the diagnostic, they close at noon, and would have to come back. I asked why this wasn't stated when the appointment was booked so that it was booked when a tech was there. Response, "sorry, you'll have tocomeback." "Brake pads" My X3 needed new brake pads, and the dealer gave me an appointment for 10 days. When I picked up the car, I was told the pads were on order and they would call me when they came in. They called 3 days later and gave me an appointment for almost 2 weeks. I would expect a dealer to have brake pads in stock, or at least order them when I made the appointment for brake service.

"No customer service" We went to BMW Utica because we are considering purchase of an X5 and they are closest to where we live. We went in late morning on a Saturday. Several (we assume) sales reps were standing around in a glass enclosed office area drinking coffee, and several times they looked out at as, but no one came to see if we needed assistance. "Worst car buying experience...complete nightmare!!" Before heading to the dealership make sure the car you want is really there (when you inquire about a vehicle they don't tell you that don't have the vehicle but what you to schedule an appointment. Double check the price as it seems that some advertised prices are "before" any addons (never seen a specific car by VIN advertised and that is the base price before the addons it has always been the final price before tax and tags). "Exploring doing business with them" Have had 5 BMW's over the last few years. Actually drive two hours away to get them because this dealership is so inept. Do not do business with them. The repair center for BMW is sub Par and they appear to be concerned with nothing but profit. They attempted to get my business but were so bad they were able to screw it after only two emails. Basically told me to go blank myself when on pushed on specifics. Very rude, not the type of people I will support with my money. Not a professional... read more

"BMW: Tried to get me for work I didn't need" I don't write reviews for products/service. That said, after my experience and reading some of these reviews, I felt compelled to write one. I originally needed a recall for my passenger side airbag for my 325xi. On the ride home, I noticed two nicks/scratches on the side column.
