The Brooklyn Diner is always on our list of places to enjoy a meal while in NYC.The service, selection, and atmosphere are always fantastic.

We got there early to avoid the Times Square crowds. Got a good table right away. The menu covers almost anything you might want from all-day breakfast, burgers and sandwiches, salads. hot meals and appetizers. Service was good, not obtrusive but readily available and pleasant. Our meals were well prepared, fresh and hot. Just what we wanted. The only negative were the prices, much higher than I would have paid in Brooklyn. Excellent food, service, and management. I had the grain bowl. The quinoa salad was delicious. The greens crisp and fresh. Gorgeous avocado. A delicious Arnold Palmer. This is not your average “diner” food. My server was knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. I asked the manager (Anastasios)to recommend a place I could meet someone for a late drink. He did and told me to use his name. Highly recommend this place for all around excellence.

Breakfast was so good at The Brooklyn Diner Times Square that we went back the next day for lunch. Excellent service, fantastic food, just an overall great experience.

I ordered my salad with no onions. I was told it's pre-mixed so they couldn't take the onions out. I asked them to please make it fresh with no onions since it wasn't very busy. They seemed to take some out but there were still onions in it. For a restaurant that charges the prices that they charge, they should make the salad up fresh from scratch when needed. It's not a big deal but it's a big deal for me.
