We ate at the Brooklyn Diner pre-theater. The restaurant is comfortable and very upscale for a "diner". The comfort food is well-prepared and in generous portions. Service was a little slow at times because the waiters cover a lot of tables and do everything. This restaurant is a lot quieter than many others in Times Square, but it is also a bit pricier.
Great place with great food. Never felt rushed and the aervice was friendly and prompt. Loved it!

Went for breakfast at 11am. Last meal in the city before heading home on Saturday. Had a booth off the kitchen which was perfect. While you can easily share the pancakes or French toast, we did not! Side orders of bacon could’ve easily shared one side. Coffee was great. Fresh squeezed OJ delicious. Server was professional and friendly, exactly what you want. Terrific breakfast held us until the next meal - 7 hours later! We’ve eaten at BD at both locations, and both are worth returning to. Until next time...
In a busy area it wasn't hard to get a seat for our party of 5. No wait! Great breakfast. It was perfect to start our day.
We had theatre tickets on a snowy Thursday and wanted a place close to the show. The service was very good and the food was very tasty. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a place close to the theater district.
This place is good for tourists. It is a bit pricey, but the service is good and they serve you quickly.
It is a must do if in times square. Portions are large, food was great and enjoyed by all. The service was good, attentive and friendly. Had a small issue that was resolved with no questions asked. Would visit again if in the area.
