Second time here - seated promptly at 12:30 -- took a while for server to get to us. Once he did and we ordered, we waited a half hour for our pretty basic food -- salad and a burger. I don't know why it took so long, the place was not even close to full. The food is tasty and my kale salad with chicken paillard was delish! So cannot complain about food.
Great spot with excellent food and great service. Pastrami Mac & Cheese was delicious! Signature Pot Pie was very good and full of chicken and vegetables. Great atmosphere and pretty good prices .
Always a favorite stop for a lunch with friends when I'm in NYC.

I will go back to this place as many times as I can!! Chicken Noodle soup is the best!!
Enjoyed our first time at the Brooklyn diner so much before our Broadway show that we had to come back again. I loved that we were able to make a reservation here especially when you are pressed for time before attending a show. Cannot really complain about anything. The pigs in a blanket are a must and don't forget to leave room for the coconut cake. This might be our go to place before Broadway show dining
Hi Kate I need to thank you so much for going beyond the call of duty today. My mother, daughter and myself had breakfast at the Brooklyn diner this morning. We sat in the first booth. It was pouring and I had forgotten my theater tickets at the hotel. I asked you if you had a printer at the restaurant. You did and offered to print our tickets for us. You did!!
