Brooklyn Diner never disappoints! The food is delicious and plentiful. The service is good and the food comes out very quickly so great if you are pressed for time. They do their best to seat quickly and per request and are always welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend if you are in mid town for work, play or theater!
Great smoked salmon and free cute little muffins whilst we waited to get served, breakfast menu is amazing
Love this place. Perfect for pre-show dining. Staff is always friendly. You should try, at least once, the chicken pot pie. Beyond delicious.
Fabulous hot pastrami on rye! We were about 20 minutes late for our reservation, and it was not a problem! Getting to our matinee on time wasn't a problem.
Brooklyn Diner is an outstanding restaurant!! The food was amazing and the staff was phenomenal and accommodating. If you are visiting New York you MUST visit. You will not be disappointed!!

This is the prefect place for pre-theatre dining. The food is good, the wait staff is friendly and it is easy on the pocketbook.
Took my niece to dinner and a show in NYC on 5/13/17. We arrived to the Brooklyn Diner 15 minutes early because of torrential rain. It was not problem at all. We were greeted warmly, our umbrellas were bagged and we were directed to a table by the bar. We warmed up with Chicken Soup which was served in a unique way. Both had our dinners and a large cookie for dessert. The diner was cozy and we had a very nice time.
I've been here several times and the food has always been great- try the noodle kugel. Servers are friendly, too. I highly recommend reservations, as the space is small and many groups were turned away because they did not have reservations.
