The Brooklyn Diner was very disappointing for breakfast. I understand that NYC is expensive, but I expect a much more quality breakfast for the prices charged. We had pancakes, eggs, raisin & pecan French toast and an omelette. Everything was mediocre. Our bill for six people was over $150!!
Great food be sure you make reservations this place fills up quickly.
Get the polenta with tomato dipping sauce - best thing on their breakfast menu!
Our cozy table was ready when we arrived. We shared a huge bowl of yummy matzoh ball soup. The everyday Thanksgiving plate was delicious. My daughter’s burger was huge and very good. We’ve been there before and will return.
We ate at the Times Square restaurant and it was mobbed. We had an Open Table reservation and we were seated at the time we asked for. Don’t try to get a table unless you have a reservation. There is always a line to get it. This is an expensive Diner......very expensive, but the food was great.
Most expensive eggs Benedict I have had but was good. Place was packed on a Sunday morning and service was not good at all. Once order was placed we never seen waitress again. Had to get a manager to get the bill and pack left overs. Coffee was cold from the get go and was never asked if we wanted more. Then again we never saw waitress again.
Outstanding - could be best cheeseburger ever. Casual setting but great food.

Excellent experience. Comfort food, tastes like Mom made it. The chicken pot pie is amazing. Will definitely be back!
