What a nostalgic experience! Love the decor and the food!! (Fries were not the best I've had sadly) I will definitely be returning!

Decor and food as expected for a diner which is fun and what we went there for. The waiter was wearing a waistcoat that appeared not to have been washed for weeks though he was a sweet person Meals were served when first course plates were still on table, irritating when a service tip is not just expected, it appears to be demanded

This was my second visit to Brooklyn Diner. I had the Thanksgiving turkey dinner and my friend had the chicken pot pie. Everything was delicious. We also had drinks and dessert.

Pre-theater dinner. Right near many theaters. Casual. Comfortable. Good service. Very good food. Moderately priced for the neighborhood.

We had a 5PM reservation on a Sunday, and it was packed! The food was excellent, as was the service. It was clearly warm and friendly on a cold Sunday afternoon. We tried the chicken soup, a plain hamburger, and the pot roast. All was excellent, and the service friendly and extremely attentive. Would definitely go back!

This "authentic" Brooklyn diner was a little disappointing. The food was OK, the prices were high (although it is Times Square $16 for a glass of wine is too much). The service was good; they were very accommodating to my two grandkids and everything was promptly served and cleared, but not hurried. The pastrami was so so. It's a good place for a burger and mac and cheese which everyone liked.

Went there for pre-theater dinner on Saturday night, with a reservation. We were seated immediately and service was reasonably good for the most part, although waiter forgot to bring specific items we requested, and repeatedly called us "guys", which I hate. The place was very crowded and noisy. Unless you are lucky enough to get a booth, the tables are crammed together and you cannot avoid overhearing conversations and phone calls of diners at adjoining tables. Food quality was average. We both ordered dinner salads, and th... read more

Fabulous split peas soup with hot dog slices. Delicious and huge chicken pot pie, to be eaten by two or three. Don't miss the noodle kugle; it's fantastic and authentic.
