Excellent pastrami!!! Very good all: food, ambiance and attention
Portions are very large. The kugel continues to be outstanding. It's sweet and I love it. I noticed they also added it to their dessert menu; I'm considering trying it a la mode, but it goes great with all the main courses. Their tuna fish sandwich is outrageously priced, but it's large and enough for 2.
Was worried we could be in a tourist trap, but other than the prices (which were high, even for pretty good food in NYC), I was very pleasantly surprised. The ambiance is comfortable and cozy, the food was very good. A nice spot, overall.
Have been here before and always enjoyed it. Was disappointed this time that only Brunch menu was available. Would like more Variety. $25 eggs just doesn't seem right
The menu is like a fancy diner and the pot roast was excellent. Entrees are pricey but big with generous sides. They are able to accommodate gluten free with bread that's gluten free. So burgers are fine. I would recommend!
Breakfast for 6. They take reservations which is a big plus. Very good breakfast foods, ample portions and great service in a very pleasant atmosphere. You get what you pay for here.
I have eaten here many times before - breakfast, lunch and dinner. This time was with my wife who came with me to the City for a few days of shopping and shows while I did business. Normally we don't make reservations but by doing so we figured our chances of getting one of the booths in the back of the restaurant would be higher. We did get one of those booths. The food and service was good. Was very warm in the restuarant but had a great view of times square.
We booked last minute on the train into the city and were lucky enough to get pre-theatre show reservations. Food was great - Staff was great - location was perfect. What more could you ask for. Would definitely recommend and eat there again!
