great food, reliable, amazing noodle pudding, terrific after theatre food-the huge sandwiches should be shared. LOVE the pastrami
This is a classic diner with better food and lots of healthy choices. It is a great place to go when in Times Square and does not have any of the touristy kitsch of the other places in that area.
On the corner of Time Square and 43rd offers a unique location. The Staff is always friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is typical New York, people talking, a busy place, yet like your own personal corner restaurant. Whether breakfast, lunch, dinner or after play hot fudge sundae with Proseco, this is the place to satisfy your needs. We gone back each time we have been each time we have been in New York over the last four years.
Great location right at Times Square. I was surprised by the food - it was excellent. Loved the toasted polenta that came with my frittata.

Arrived early and staff was very accommodating. Requested a booth and they honored the request. Brought kids lollipops at the end of the meal...big hit! Only disappointment was you could only get breakfast before 11:30. We were there at 11:20 and we couldn't get lunch:( was really looking forward to a burger!
Excellent pre-theater choice for casaul meal.
The food was okay - nothing to get excited about. It would not be my first choice as I am sure there are better options in the area. I think kids will love it. They have fun desserts.
I had never eaten here before and when I first walked in I thought wow, this is a really noisy place. Having made a reservation, the hostess escorted me to a wonderful table towards the side rear of the diner. What a difference. NOise level dropped considerably and was able to concentrate on their ample menu. My friend and I chose the pastrami sandwich which I ordered with potato salad.
