Any Shelly Fireman restaurant has excellent food and this is no exception. Portions are large and this is an oasis for casual dining in the crazy Times Square area. Try the chicken soup.
Enjoyable experience for our table of four. Our reservation was honored immediately upon our arrival. We truly enjoyed our meals and the service was attentive and helpful. The chicken pot pie is enormous, could easily be shared for two. Although we had a 6:00 pm reservation on a Saturday night before the theatre, we never felt rushed or pushed along by our waiter. We wil return the next time we are in the City.
We live a few blocks away and treat the Brooklyn Dinner as a neighborhood fail safe place to get a hearty meal (my favorite is their breakfast), we have met some interesting tourist and theater employees and the prices are not inflated being in the heart of tourist location.
Good food, nice service, bad bar selection
A bit on the pricey side, but there is deinfelty something for everyone and generous portions. Good locations as well.
Pancakes were great but pricey. Real maple syrup and whipped cream! Our food took a long time to arrive which was a bit of a drag but for a decent Times Sq.touristy breakfast spot, I felt the quality of the food was more than fine.
We love the selections and the food. It's easy, quick and a great place to go anytime. The chicken soup is a very favorite. The staff is always friendly and polite.
Expensive but in line for Mid Town restaurants. The quantity and quality not matched by others. Very Clean friendly, with a NY attitude.
Brooklyn Diner -- a non-directionally named restaurant -- in the Theatre District in Manhattan is a great place for lunch b efore the theater. We go often and the food is always predictably good. The portions are large enough to share -- particularly the Chinese Chicken Salad! The Brooklyn burger is juicy and cooked to perfection as are the fries and onion rings that accompany it!
