The food was great and the portions were huge!! However, the price was high, but the amount of food makes up for it. We had to change our reservation and they were more than accomodating!! I love this place!!
Convenient for theater, esp. Town Hall. Portions are huge so plan accordingly.
Not your regular diner. While the portions are fairly large where were the egg?. What diner doesn't serve breakfast 24/7 - that's the point of a diner I had a hard time finding something that appealed to me on the menu and ended up with the pulled BBQ chicken sandwich and my husband had a vegetable and hummus plate. Food was ok, nothing special. Certainly won;t go back there as just a so so place to eat
I have been to both the one in the 50s and this one in Times Square, and this one is a lot less cramped, which gave a much better feel to the place. The food was good, but I think everything was a bit pricey. Granted, they give you large portions for your money, but most salads and sandwiches are $20, which is a bit steep.
Food was just "ok".....prices extremely high for the quality of food received.
Not exactly what one thinks of when thinking about a diner, and that may be a good thing. The breakfast was good and the freshly made strawberry jam was excellent. Get the fried polenta with your eggs—it is very good with the right amount of cheese in the mixture.
You always can count on a good meal at the Brooklyn Diner Times Square. The food is plenty, consistent and there is a great variety. The maitre d' is always very helpful and pleasant there. It is a great pre-theater "go to."
Good service;nice staff.Food good and nice selection for "American food"
Chicken Soup was delicious. Best I've had in a long time.
