We’ve been to the Brooklyn Diner several times and it’s always a great meal and experience!
It was a last minute decision to eat there as it was our last night in NYC and we hadn’t had a “diner” meal yet. This had good rating and was close to our hotel. We were seated within a few minutes which was great because it was really cold that night. Besides the food, what struck us the most was the care that the manager paid to the elderly patrons. There were two women in wheelchairs that he personally assisted down the steps and to their table. While we were waiting outside an older man approached him and asked for direc... read more
Brooklyn Diner consistently gets 5 Stars from me! We had perfect Perfect Plates and they were…Perfect. Our server was absolutely the best! So attentive, friendly and professional. We felt like we were in good hands from the very first minute we sat in our quiet booth. My only observation is that lunch, for one, will run about $50/per person (includes a generous tip). It’s really steep. But, we do it occasionally — would visit more often, but can’t afford it! Still, I recommend it
I made reservations. (Recommended during those busy holoday season). When we arrived we were seated immediately. It had been several years since I had been to the diner. It did not disappoint. Service was prompt and attentive. Food as delicious as I remember. True comfort food on a chilly December evening!
Brooklyn Diner is our go to restaurant when going to theatre below 46th Street. It never disappoints.
Excellent food. Noodle kugel and pastrami Ruben were delicious. Service was outstanding!
From the moment our family was greeted at the door to when we paid our bill we loved everything about our dinner. The great staff. The fun menu. The tasty drinks.
We had a reservation, but had to wait a fair amount of time to be seated. And when we were, it was in the area near the entryway with tables very close together. Servers had to squeeze through between our table and the one behind us, making it awkward and uncomfortable. The food was good, not great, with the chicken noodle soup being the best bang for your buck. Getting drink refills (coffee!!) was an effort. We’d still return in a pinch, but there are better options for breakfast nearby.
Marvelous for most any meal....but today, an early pre-theatre bite.
