I have really enjoyed Brooklyn Diner in the past. But it's just no very good anymore. The menu is enticing but the execution is not. The service uneven at best. I suppose this is an adequate option for the pre-theater crowd. they close too early for post-theater. Just isn't very good or very authentic. Overtaken by tourists and a culture that caters to one time tourist guests, not New Yorkers.
It is always a pleasure to stop in and eat at BD when we visit NYC. The chicken pot pie is still our favorite.
Absolutely phenomenal service, and food was wonderful! From the moment we walked through the door and greeted by hostess Jenna, to our service and food, it was EXCELLENT! So much so, we went back the next day for lunch and are returning for brunch! Highly recommend!!!
This was a really fun place for brunch - great diner atmosphere, our waitress was very sweet, and the food was delicious. We got the waffles, eggs, bacon and OJ - the waffles were so good! Crispy on the outside and so soft on the inside. We forgot to ask for scrambled instead of over easy eggs (I guess the default) - I was surprised the waitress didn’t ask how we liked our eggs, but that’s okay - We should have thought of that. Delicious food, great location, price reasonable for location
Chairs were too close together. Not enough room for servers to get through.
I was with someone who needed accommodations for mobility and they were so lovely! And the food was perfect, too!
Very good food, nice place, good servive but too expensive!! There is not a fair balance between price and quality.
Ok diner-tourist place. Nice pictures on wall . Limited menu.
