At first I did not like this printer and almost returned it At first I did not like this printer and almost returned it. The cover felt flimsy, however, now I'm used to the printer and would recommend it. The automatic paper feed is nice without having to lift the cover. I also like the scanner. Generic toner cartridges are inexpensive and work fine.
Four Stars Very happy with this printer! I use it mainly with Ubuntu desktops but also Macintosh.

better than the hp 4110 it replaced tremendous multi-function printer. does everything quite well, better than the hp 4110 it replaced. only complaint is the error message for low toner. could not print but if you go into the settings there is an option to print with low toner message.
Easy to use and Reliable! Love it, it is quite the workhorse, and can handle a variety of different paper types. Use it for home office, easy to use and very reliable. The only downside is the cost of the toner, although it is very much with every brand out there.
