The first time I went to Bru Burger I had a wonderful experience the food was good and so was the atmosphere! My experience there yesterday was less than mediocre and I am positive I will never return! There was a huge spider crawling across the table and instead of moving us inside which is what I originally wanted the only option they offered to us was to get up from our table hold our food while we wait for another table to become available! We called multiple times and were told no reservations were allowed, which is totally fine and understandable, but the hostess' failed to mention every time that we called that an event was going on literally right outside of their establishment. When we got there, they told us our wait was only an hour and 45 minutes. Went back in for a check up, only for them to change it to 2 hours. Long story short: we had to wait up to 3 hours. Normally rank 5 stars but today the service and food was poor!!!! Waitress didn't follow up to see if everything was okay. After 25 minus had to flag down another waiter to see what delay was. He offered a free dessert. Of course no tip and wore all over ticket about the bad service. Talked to manager before leaving about the bad service and length of time to get the food. Waitress came up while talking to manager stain that it is NOT her responsibility about food. Don't know where you learn how to be a waitress but i... read more

Server was rude reached across the table in front of us. Staff at restaurant gave judgemental gazes because we weren't dressed up to the standards that I guess they've set forth. Was beyond crowded and noisy. I honestly won't be returning anytime soon.

Mixed reviews. Unlike some I'm happy not to be seated right away on a Saturday night. If the food and service is good you'll probably have at least a small wait and Bru always does. Unfortunately on our last visit the actuall wait well exceeded what we were told. The food is mixed for me as well. The mac n cheese appetizer was delicious. Jalapeño, andouille sausage and shrimp all in a light cheese sauce. Unfortunately I had a hard time enjoying it because my entree arrived before I was half way through my appetizer. ... read more
