RecommendedI drove an hour for an emergency visit for our German Shepherd Jade who was diagnosed with Pyometra at PVSEC who wanted $7-$10k for surgery! 😳 Butler Vet was not only reasonably priced but everyone there was kind to us and Jade! If I lived closer I would make this my regular vet! Definitely recommend them especially for an Emergency!
I went to Butler Veterinary Associates yesterday with my dog as an emergency. They were absolutely wonderful. The vet Dr. Kennedy let me stay with my dog while he was being sedated for surgery because he has a lot of anxiety with going to the vet. The techs were so kind and wonderful with him and were focused on keeping him as calm and comfortable as possible. I cannot say enough good things about them. I am so grateful to them.
Great people who take care of your furry family
My 82 pound husky found a porcupine and had about 20 or so quills on his snout and one on the roof of his mouth. I called 4 other veterinary offices and they flat out told me their patients come first so they didn’t have time to see him or they don’t have enough staff to see him or that he wasn’t ever a patient at their office so they refused to see him. My older Pomeranian was unable to walk. Our regular vet would not see him. I called Butler Veterinary Associates and received an emergency appointment. The staff was kind and caring. The vet tech explained testing and the pricing. The vet found the problem and my dog had the procedure that day. We were able to bring him home later the same day. We are leaving our current vet that is 4 miles from our home. My husband and I want this practice to care for our pets from now on.

I’m so grateful for Butler Veterinary. They saved our old Chihuahua’s life and gave us another 2 precious years with him. They keep you updated and are always available to answer questions.
