On Christmas Day we almost lost our German shepherd Nala due to bloat. We drove 45 mins to them as they were the closest emergency vet that answered. Dr Berry and the amazing staff there got her into surgery asap. If it wasn’t for them she wouldn’t be here today. She is starting to get back to her playful goofy self.

Amazing about getting you In asap. I live in Pittsburgh and have needed care for my older boxer, who has had a mass removal and back injury this year, and have had such a hard time getting anyone to take us for urgent appointments locally. BVA not only took us in on the same day that we called but also gave helpful advice for care in the meantime before and obviously after our appointments.
we are from Mercer, and our 12 year old Chihuahua Maddie was shaking terribly, originally thinking a seizure we called our (now former) vet, and told them everything and was told TUESDAY was the soonest! called other local vets, no luck tne last one we called recommended Butler Vet, called down, half hysterical, Amanda was great on the phone, advised we would be down ASAP, we flew down from Mercer, Maddie was a little better when we arrived the tech, I don't remember her name was amazing, and Dr. Berry checked her out and ca... read more
