2nd time here and both times had the chow mein. Huge portion had to bring half of it home. The menu has a big selection, my big meal was 19.00 worth it. Tasty & good. Wife had a big burger, she said better than In&Outs..also 19.00 with lots of fries..we'll be back.
Business response:
We are delighted to hear you and your wife enjoyed the chow mein and burger at Cafe Central. We look forward to welcoming you both back!
Okay, came here on a Sunday morning for breakfast. The hostess was awesome. Our server Geraldo was super. The Cafe is very spacious. The line moves quickly. So as we sat waiting for our food, the Manager on duty walked around asking everyone if they were okay and welcome. Theer were people of all walks of life here. Do you know she spoke to a many people but not one black American person. I couldn't believe it. The reason I know is because you could count them on one hand. Welcome everyone. The food here is very good. T... read more
Came back from the Peppermill after watching Padres playoff game. They won. Ate late dinner at cafe central. Very good. Won ton soup, Asian chix salad and Caesar salad. Great service. Recommend for quick dinner.
Business response:
We are delighted to hear you enjoyed the won ton soup, Asian chix salad, and great service at Cafe Central. Thanks for the recommendation, Richard!
Much better service and waitress Lauren was wonderful, on task and friendly. Made sure to stop by to see if we needed anything else. She brought coffee with the cups full and the carafe. Food was hot and delicious. Dining area was clean and inviting. Our experience was better spared to the previous morning where the waiter that brought our coffee placed them on the table with some force that it sounded like he threw them onto the table and the cups were empty. Due to power outage in the area, restaurants couldn't serve food... read more

We always make a point to stop at Café Central before we head back home. We've been here before, and it remains a reliable favorite. This time, our server was Gerardo, and he did a great job checking in on us regularly. On top of the attentive service, our breakfast came out incredibly quick. It's the perfect, convenient spot for a fast and delicious meal before a drive.
Business response:
We are happy to hear Gerardo's attentive service and quick breakfast made Café Central your reliable favorite stop before heading home. See you next time!
It's RARE that I give high rating but they earned it. I ordered the fried rice & it was amazing and not salty which was a first! My brother had the pho with beef & that was delish too!!! The cocktail was big & taste perfect! The only complaint is we waited 20 min to order, the waiter was not attentive & did not check in with us to ask if we needed anything. It was not terribly busy but he may had been tired, go figure!
Business response:
We're excited to hear that you enjoyed the fried rice and pho at Cafe Central! Your feedback is incredibly valuable to us. We apologize for the wait time and service issue you experienced.
This is another restaurant that I play at safe and they're open 24 hours so you always find something the first time I went there I didn't like a lot of different food so I had to play around with it and I learned that if I go during breakfast is steak and eggs is like the best thing to get and then I learned that this last trip to the burgers were insane. When I say they came out fresh they were good. The fries were hot. I loved everything about the burger to the point that we went two days in a row. I love the service that... read more

Quite a good meal at Cafe Central for a quick dinner before catching a red eye flight home. After spending a day at Circus Circus / Silver Legacy casinos, we chose to have dinner at the casino rather than finding a local spot. We sat down at Cafe Central and it was really a pleasant surprise. First off, the menu is vast - it's got American dishes, Italian, and Asian selections. I chose the egg rolls and legacy fried rice and was pleased by both. The egg rolls come 4 to an order, and they were as good as any egg rolls I've ha... read more

We are absolutely delighted to hear that Esmeralda and Matthew made your visit so memorable! It's wonderful to know that Matthew's proactive service with the iced tea and separate glass of ice, as well as Esmeralda's thoughtfulness in providing a to-go cup for your soft drink, added that extra special touch to your dining experience. Our team truly takes pride in going above and beyond for our guests. The legacy fried rice and egg rolls are indeed great choices, and we are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed both dishes. We spent the day in the casino and hotel and decided to get some dinner here tonight. It is on the second floor of the Silver Legacy casino. The restaurant offers a lot of Asian themed dishes, as well as a few Italian dishes and some standard American style dishes. We started with the egg rolls and they tasted great. For my entree I had the Teriyaki bowl. It had broccoli, red peppers, onions, rice and chicken thighs with a little container of sauce. It was plentiful and tasty. My husband had the fried rice bowl and t... read more
