If you are going to an event at Lincoln Center or the Lincoln Center area and want fast, efficient service, make a reservation (essential) at Cafe Paradiso. Don't walk in @ 6pm w/o a reservation and expect to get a table. Food is good, not great, but you're there to grab a quick bite before the show, not to have a leisurely dinner. You can't beat the location and prices are well w/in the range of area restaurants.
Great place for dinner before performances at Lincoln Center. The food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable.
The food was disappointing. I had the salmon main course. The portion was small and somewhat fishy and the entire plate was filled with string beans. Everything was buttery or oily to an extreme, which is not my taste, but may be OK for others. The waiter was excellent, but did not know what I meant when I said the salmon so that was a bit odd, but I really liked him.
Perfect for pre-concert/opera dinner. The cheese board was outstanding!!
Had noted on reservation it was a 95th birthday celebration before the Opera, shared with waitress as well, no desert was brought for occasion ☹️
Host/waitstaff very nice, professional and knowledgeable about gluten-free options, food is good and reasonably priced especially for the area.
It seems it was our waiter's first day on the job. He was slow to serve and then forgot one item. He also had to learn how to run the bill on the device he had.
My new favorite affordable place to dine at Lincoln Center now that they accept reservations . But shhhh. It’s our little secret!
Took rather long for our order to arrive. And then my eggplant parm was barely luke warm. Waitress returned it for heating it up, but it still was almost cold. Tasted good though and we could not wait for a second try since we had concert tickets and the caffee was closing down. 10% off didn't quite cut it.
