The best part about Cafe Paradiso is it's location -- it's a reasonably priced spot for a quick meal before heading to Lincoln Center. You know it's going to be crowded but the restaurant manages to get everyone served quickly and out in time for the next performance. Unfortunately, my recent experience with the food was disappointing. Refrain from ordering the quiche -- it was thick and gummy and tasteless and nothing like what quiche should be. We went to Cafe Paradiso before a movie at Lincoln Center. The food was really good and the prices very reasonable. I also liked the fact that we could make a reservation. I will will be visiting this restaurant very often.

Overall a very nice dining experience, food, service, vibe. Only quibble is there isn't enough room for bags and outerwear at the tables, making for uncomfortable and potentially dangerous floor cluttering.

Perfectly convenient place for the movies or Lincoln Center. More like diner food, but certainly good enough sandwiches and light pasta and some salad salads.

This was my 2nd time at Cafe Paradiso. The food was great. I had athe lentil soup and a turkey, mozzarella sandwich on whole grain bread. I really enjoyed being here with friends to enjoy the food!

The reviews here for Café Paradiso are astonishingly accurate. It's fabulously convenient, basically on the Lincoln Center campus. It's great fun, the food is plain but fine, and the service is erratic, through no fault of the waiters. The frequent comment that they run out of their offerings early is true. My friend wanted the split-pea soup and half sandwich, and asked for a salmon sandwich. No more salmon, said our waiter. I told him that this was a common complaint in the reviews. We have not visited for a year or so, because both the food and the ambiance deteriorated. Tried again today based on online reviews. What a difference! Updated decor, more upbeat, and delicious food. We had the chicken parm and pizza, and both were very good. Service was also very good. Also the freshly squeezed juice combo was excellent.
