This place is only open because of its proximity to Lincoln Center. So, in that regard, it serves its purpose. We had a 5:00 reservation (7:00 curtain). It took 10 minutes to get someone to take our order. They were out of half the items on the menu. Foodndid arrive promptly, but was mediocre. For use in case of emergency only.

Went on a Sunday evening and was told that almost half of the menu was unavailable. Also ended up waiting for about 15-20 minutes for someone to offer a check, despite the restaurant not being terribly busy. Not saying we had an awful time, but it wasn't good enough to bring us back.

We were a party of 3 people. All ordered soups and half sandwich. All the soups were barely warm. We were rushed out of our table - even though we were only seated for 40 minutes. I have eaten at Cafe Paradiso before and never was treated like this.

Cheerful, convenient for Lincoln Center, but even the steak knife that comes with the chicken Parmesan couldn’t cut that cardboard “meat.”

I've seen a distinct slide in service and the quality of the food in the last 6 months. Too bad, it used to be a great place to go before an event upstairs.

This was the second time I have eaten at Cafe Paradiso in two days. On Saturday, the only red wine available was a mediocre Cabernet Franc…..the message was that the delivery had not arrived. Imagine my dismay when the same situation continued on Monday! If I am not mistaken, Firemen’s Hospitality owns a variety of restaurants (one across the street) with extensive wine reserves……replenish the supply!!
