Spacious room ( suite), excellent rate and the location was great! We had some trouble with our key cards at first but that got sorted out. We would have appreciated housekeeping service. We do understand, however, that hotels don’t always offer it now due to the pandemic. We were very comfortable in our room (king suite with couch) and were very pleased to have a view of the ocean. It was a great location and we definitely would return The bed was hard and there was gap under the door that could be easily fixed so critters could not come in. The parking lot is small and tight however this is common in Carmel and there is street parking. It was cozy and the location was very convenient to a lot of the restaurants and stores in Carmel. I loved the gardening around the motel. They gave us a continental breakfast at our doorstep. The water in the shower had good pressure and warmed up quickly. It was a nic... read more
