This was a destination visit for me to purchase a gift card was as a gift for my son but I took time to shop around. My 1st impression is that this store is stuffed gills with merchandise which makes it hard to shop. There is very little room to walk between he fixtures and find and look at merchandise. I did spend some time looking at their boots which drove me crazy. They merchandise them by size so all the styles are mixed together. Came to Cavender's to buy some new boots and the whole time I was looking not one person asked to help me instead they just glanced my way. And it wasn't even busy. Dear store Managers my husband and I were in your store a few weeks ago buying jeans for him. You have no customer service at all in that store. It was on a Saturday you were pretty busy. 3 of your women employees were sitting on the floor in the men's section straighten jeans on a shelf . Never once did they ask if we needed help. Instead I was looked at as I walked by the ladys and was not even spoke to. I help a paying customer pick out a shirt. I go here for boots, that's it. The staff is so unfriendly, and very catty. My husband and I went to return a shirt, and the girl behind the counter kept giving me the "go to hell" look. Also, in between taking my information, she kept looking behind her to talk with other staff members. Very rude. I will be taking my business to Justin outlet from now on.
Unfriendly staff. I was asking for a particular item, they just pointed. I asked for the size I was looking for, they just nodded their head and walked off. I'm will shop online and pass up this place in the future.
Last saturday my mother in-law was being given a surprise birthday party, and I had to work until 3:30 that afternoon , I'd told my wife I would go by cavader's when I got off work and buy a new shirt to wear to the party since the store was on my way home and she had enough to do arranging the last minute details of the surprise party.
