Posting for an alcoholic friend that’s almost done with inpatient @ CenterPointe. She is sober & happy after spending several weeks there! She said it’s very clean, great counselors & even good food. I have seen a complete turn around in my dear friend & they have her set up to go to a sober living home straight from there. Being in AA & sober myself I know of a lot of success stories that came out of CenterPointe.

I was just released from the inpatient program. I had the worst experience!! I went in for anxiety and intrusive thoughts from an SSRI that I was given from my psychiatrist at a different office. I experienced horrible side effects. I went to seek help from the inpatient program. My experience was awful!!!! I had been taking a heart pill given by my cardiologist and this past week while at the facility I was given something totally different!!! They also put me on schizophrenic medication and I am not a schizophrenic!! They ... read more

They took good care of my mother for six weeks who was suffering from a schizoaffective episode. They then discharged her to a 90-day stay at a supervised transitional home, and I thank the staff for finding this resource that will allow our mother time to heal and reacquaint with society. Her condition has been very hard on our family, but I think these folks genuinely care and did the best they could to affect positive change for our mother. We hope she can continue on a path of healing/management of her condition.

I admitted myself to their detox unit for alcohol which was completely overfilled. The conditions were less than sanitary. Most units had 4 patients per room-with two rooms sharing a bathroom. That's 8 people per restroom which was a nightmare. They dont allow anyone to wear their own clothing but were out of scrubs. Quite a few patients had to wear the same set for 4-5 days without being washed. Nobody was able to take a shower due to lack of supplies and space. There are never any clean towels, no soap/shampoo/deodorant/ec... read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. The team in charge of my husbands care has done nothing but give me the run around and held him against his will for a week now despite multiple requests to leave on a VOLUNTARY hold. And no one can give me or him a straight answer as to why. Do NOT check yourself in here voluntary with the expectation that it is actually voluntary. Absolutely a disgrace to people who need help.
