WARNING!!! Stay away from CenterPointe Hospital in Weldon Springs, MO. My loved one was recently a patient there, and I use the term patient loosely. It was more like an incarceration than a treatment program. My loved one suffers from depression and anxiety. She was a self-admit but after a week in the hospital, asked to be discharged. The nurse practitioner (NOT DOCTOR) said he would not discharge her, and if she persisted, he would make her an involuntary patient. I recently had an individual (a soldier) checked in here. There is legitimately no system in place. None of the nurses can give me a straight answer about whether he was gonna be out. The doctor was evasive and non responsive to my concerns. This place needs help, not the people.

I stayed here. It is a for-profit institution. I could say a lot about this place. The food there was so awful. One day they gave us 5 pieces of bread and fake eggs for breakfast. Ok it was four pieces of french toast and one piece of white bread. But still. 5 pieces of bread. All of the meals were as low if not lower in nutritional value.
