The smaller size is great for my parents and gives the flexibility that is helping dad that might not get in a larger place. The staff, esp in memory care, has been great with that flexibility. However, there's been some recent turn over in staff, leadership, and vendors that has made the first few months a little rocky. Hopefully that will even out. I say that only because they haven't been shaving him or at least helping him shave. Otherwise I feel he has been well cared for. The staff are very attentive and try to make him feel special. I love that they have a PA that comes in for new resident evaluation and care. They even invited me to come in for the quarterly evaluation and pointed out the areas he needs a little more help or is the same or worse. I can't say enough about the friendly staff there.
we are very happy with Charter. I'd give them 4 stars only because they've had several staff members leave recently. We hated to see them leave but it was all for good reasons. Medical and admin staff are dedicated and truly caring. My brother's one bedroom apartment is a comfortable size, well lit and is cleaned once a week. The whole facility is clean and well cared for. [name removed], the memory care coordinator is fabulous. You can tell she really enjoys her job. The residents can go outside in a nice enclosed garden area whenever they want and they don't have to wear any wander guard devices. They have a lot of activities also to keep the residents social.
The staff is very helpful making the new residents feel at home and also make them feel if they need anything not to be afraid to ask.

What we like the most about the community is that all of the caregivers are very nice and helpful. There are a lot of activities. [name removed] seems happy there. I think it could be cleaner, but I also understand that the residents don't help with that.
[names removed] made our loved ones transfer to senior memory care seamless. They were able to answer all of our questions and provide information for bringing our loved one to Wisconsin from Florida. It was a big weight lifted off our shoulders with their help.
This is easy! I give them a 5 on everything except maybe a 3 on the food. It's okay but not great. The staff is so friendly and efficient and take great care of [name removed]. the residents are friendly too. My brother keeps saying that he really likes being there. Which is huge.
Problems with lack of staff. No notification if scheduled shower or laundry is unavailable. I wait and finally give up.
