I come into town for about 3 weeks every year around the holidays. I have gone into this gym the last several years asking them if I could pay them $50 (or whatever rate they decide) for 1 month of use. They always say no. Seems like bad business to turn away money.
I hate this gym and their staff. When I lost my job they wouldn't let me cancel my personal training without paying $400 which obviously I couldn't afford. They wouldn't even let me set up a payment program. So now I owe around $700 with the bill collectors calling constantly. I called everyone trying to work it out but nothing. And the thing is the trainers aren't even that great. They wouldn't work with my arthritis and my trainer was ride and would go talk to his friends instead of helping. Bailey's has been nothing but a huge hassle to deal with. There is nothing wrong with the location, equipment, or the facility in general. But their customer service is THE WORST I've ever experienced. Back in December I decided to cancel my membership - I have moved to Timed Exercise because working with a personal trainer at Bailey's was too expensive. I want to like this gym - I really do! I can't, though... There is only 1 news station played in this gym. There are 2 exercise rooms: one that shows this news station and one that shows a sports channel. The locker rooms show the news channel & most of the other TVs around the gym play this same news channel. I get that people want their news, but not everyone is like-minded.
