Get directionsCancellation process is such a pain! And you can't even put your account on hold. I ask and they said even if your account gets put on hold you have to pay for the months. What's the point then?! Seriously think twice about joining this gym, the cancellation is such a hassle.
This gym is very dirty. I sent a message to headquarters, received no response. I mentioned the six months of dries sweat on the treadmills to the manager and it didn't seem to register at all. I waited another two months and terminated my membership. The clerk wrote on the cancellation form reason for leaving "isn't using" although I have been working out for many years at that location three times a week. Joined Planet Fitness-they obviously understand that a gym must be cleaned on a regular basis.
They signed me up for the wrong membership and will not correct it so I am stuck with a 2 year membership when I signed up for a 6 months pay and six months free. And new manager was not helpful and left me at the counter hanging to take care of someone that walked in for a job. Horrible customer service lets not talk about employees talking to each other as you standing there waiting to be helped I guess gossiping is more important than their job. 2
If I could give it no stars I would.....Stay away from this gym!!!!!! Cancellation process is a hassle to say the least....I requested to cancel my membership after 2yrs by certified mail and I'm getting still getting billed monthly and even had the audacity to charge me a yearly club enhancement fee....DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM!!!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!
I will never ever go back to this gym. Their office staff and corporate office are a joke! I had Emergercy surgery and spent months out of the gym (that I still paid for), shortly after recovering we found out we were pregnant but because of the previous surgery I was not allowed to do any extra physical activities. I did everything I was told to do to cancel my contract. I provided a doctors note and was forced into shutting off my automatic payments. I was told by the rep at the gym that everything was in order and would b... read more
I've been trying to cancel a membership for a year now. Going to call First Coast News and get Ken Amaro on this place. And somehow in the past few months the charge has increased.
One of the shadiest gyms I've ever dealt with. The facilities are fine, but if you love out of the area, give proof on relocation, and request (4 times via email and fax) to have your membership cancelled you still get charged and the office personnel are nonexistent, indifferent, or outright unhelpful. So think carefully before joining, as there are so many other options who truly put their clients first.
My experience with baileys was a good one at first , then I got transferred back to NY from my employer , my employer gave me a letter of relocation , I turned it into baileys in person along with my 50 dollar cancelation fee and listen to there employee talk to corporate and insured me I was all set , well 6 months later I came back to Jacksonville and tried to rejoin baileys , I was denied saying I owed them 245 dollars and they put it in collection , because my letter from my employer wasn't good enough I was told but my ... read more
Extremely overcrowded. Obnoxious regulars. Dirty machines. I've been a member for a little over a year now. Thankfully getting rid of this membership soon. Nice and helpful staff, but the gym is horrible. The weights floor is PACKED with grunting, at times yelling, roid filled guys who don't clean up after their sessions. Good luck finding a single piece of equipment between 5pm and 8pm. In the past year I've heard more from the guys next to me about their steroid buys than I have in all my previous gym time combined.
