Very disappointed in the integrity of the staff at this gym. Not all of the staff are bad(Amanda's the best) but some have made false statements causing the cancellation of several memberships. They have policies against group training but failed to explain to customers what's acceptable if a group of friends are partnered up as workout partners. If I could give them negative stars I would! Everything people are saying about the poor customer service and not caring about there member's is spot on. Last April my wife and I moved to Oakleaf and the closest gym was 12 miles away and completely out of our way...also having no child care at that location. So I talked to the corporate office and they would not budge one inch. So I payed for a year and my wife and I did not use it one time! I want to give an update a lot of people likr working out of here. I think the gym is really nice clean and the equipment is good quality.. The only thing I don't like about this place....they don't have any customer service. My family is found out by (signing a2 year contract.. with them that you cannot quit. Unless you either move away. Or you have a medical condition) so I highly recommend not signing up if they tell you you get it for $20 a month for a2 year contract. It's a gym, it's clean. It has decent equipment, and it serves its purposes. I've been to a few different locations (this one, the one in Mandarin, and the one on Baymeadows), and they're all basically the same. There's a lot of meatheads and girls in skimpy outfits, but hey, to each their own. The main problem that I have is their customer service. Absolutely terrible. I quit going here when LA Fitness opened. I finally tried to cancel my membership since I have moved out of state and have faxed over the info required to cancel TWICE and they are still charging me, saying they can't read the fax. So it is either send a certified letter or I keep getting charged. Never mind the $50 cancellation fee for having the audacity to move out of state for work before the end of my contract.
