Nice gym. They keep things fixed and clean. The reason for 3 stars is staff does not keep people moving along on the machines. People sit on their phones forever between sets. Staff should walk around & ask if they are ok and please keep moving, as others are waiting. The gym is constantly getting busier - good for them, they like the $$ & don't care about keeping things moving. Also, asked 2 front desk girls for help with machines & they were oblivious & wouldn't come help me & literally said they don't know...us... read more

It's a great gym especially for the price, just needs punching bags, a real smith machine, and hand wraps and then I have 0 complaints. Staff are nice and it's kept clean, they know how to manage a big crowd. Please get a few bags and a smith machine

Just finished my second year at Chuze. I finally joined a yoga class. Mostly I have been running on the treadmill. The class was well taught and I will try another. The staff is friendly and they have lots of classes and fitness options. Good luck finding parking in the evening.

Came from San Diego to visit some family here in Bakersfield and wanted to find some time yo gym. Came across this gem for a day pass and was immediately pleased with all the equipment and cleanliness each of it had. First thing I noticed is how HUGE it is. However I noticed that some amenities were closed and was told by others that they've been closed for a while such as the sauna. The plus side is that they had an extra sauna so that was nice! Excited to be back!
