After the Rancho Bernardo location closed down, the Esco location was the next closest one. I really like the staff here. They're cool and helpful, especially Caleb! He helped me make sure to get the right membership plan without overspending. There's a lot of equipment here which does make the space a bit crammed whereas RB felt more spacious. This location has the sauna, hydro massage, and classes, which I haven't tried yet, but most people seem to enjoy those amenities. I feel like this is a great gym for a less expens... read more

They have squat racks, barbells, and other stuff that a more expensive gym would have. Great gym and staff

Ever since they moved everything inside I've been able to use all the equipment I need, without having to wait. I'm hoping they'll revert to their previous hours eventually.
Business response:
Hi Jen, Thank you for this review! We appreciate you taking the time to recognize the staff! In terms of the Covid-19 procedures, due to the state guidelines, we did have to move our equipment outside to a much smaller area and we did have to modify our hours in order to stay within compliance. We look forward to resuming indoor workouts and normal operation hours once it is deemed safe to do so. We appreciate your patience during these times and we look forward to seeing you at the gym! Kind regards, Member Services

Chuze Fitness is currently the only full equipment gym open LEGALLY in town, being that it is outdoors under a tent. (There are some other one-off gyms that remain open, but either 1) they pay lip service to regulations and still allow indoor workouts and do not enforce masks the way Chuze does, or - 2) they ARE in compliance but have very limited equipment outside nothing like what Chuze has out there.) This review is based on Escondido's outdoor only fitness facility. The main reason I am not giving this outdoor gym a ... read more

Hi Matt, Thank you for taking the time to leave this detailed review and constructive feedback. We appreciate you recognizing and seeing the cup as half full during this most challenging time for many. To clarify, we do have free weight benches outdoors, just not Olympic benches like some of our locations. We look forward to the day when things normalize again and we get to once again provide 100% of the things that you and other members have grown to love. Thanks again and we appreciate your loyalty to us. Stay safe and ... read more

My favorite gym. I started going to this gym October 2019. The staff is always friendly and amazing. They really do their best with cleanliness and customer service. The gym is a little small but not bad. I've tried other larger gyms and absolutely hated it because of the customer service they delivered. Chuze beats all the other gyms out there with caring for their guests.
