Out of all the Chuze gyms I have gone to, I think my favorite ones are the Grossmont one as well as the Escondido one. Really grateful that this gym stays open later. It's a bit of a drive from Mira Mesa-but the fact that I was able to get my workout in late at night made it worth it. Staff were very welcoming and I liked the fact this gym had different equipment than other Chuze gyms. I'm going to try to make a point to drive up here atleast once a week.

This place is OK.. First off, the staff is really nice! They are super friendly. However, the machines are awful!! Most of them are non-adjustable, making them very difficult to use if you are not a specific height. I'm pretty short so many of the machines are out of the question to use properly. Even if the machines are adjustable, they are so old and rusted it is impossible to use. If they had good quality machines I'd give this place more stars but I don't understand having a business when you don't even have adequate ... read more

I had to post how great the new manager is! Geoff is a amazing manager for this gym. I would have never recommended anyone to go here if it wasn't for him. I had problems with the other manager that would not listen at all to my problems that I had with my sign up. He was a rude and horrible manager. I cant remember his name but thank goodness they got rid of him! Its safe to say you will get well taken care of now with the new manager in the house. This guy will go places!

Great gym overall although not really good about enforcing cell phone policy and sometimes equipment is down for extended periods. Make sure you bring plenty of water as fountain has been down a few days. You can always buy theirs.

Great price! Membership w/ guest access gets us all in. Doesn't get too crowded, and not full of meat heads. Very clean and safe. Good locker rooms and most equipment you'd want. I would like Concept2 rowing machines. I wish they were open later on weekends, though.
