The rest of the gym is ok but the basketball court is trash, they only have old outdoor cheap rubber balls that are always flat and they refuse to get decent leather balls because they get used often and wear down fast. I feel like being used often is an indicator that they should have nicer equipment, by there logic they should never change out any of the bench press cushions because "it's just going to wear out again". I would highly NOT RECOMMEND joining this gym unless you want to be e-mailed by a collections firm with a $350 surprise debt that will be reported on your credit score. First and foremost, this gym was completely amazing and working out here was great while I lived in Jacksonville, FL. Unfortunately, I needed to transfer to California for a job change. Do not ever never get a personal trainer in this gym. They will rob you blind. I've never have wasted so much money on a personal trainer to literally sit me on a machine and leave me there for 30 minutes to then let let me know that my time is up, wtf. My contractor was Month to month and once I have a notice a month earlier they changed my 2 more months after that. I went to claim the extra 2 charges and they told me that I somehow stilled owned 2 more payments. BUT IT WAS MONTH TO MONTH. Big buff guys with no brain cells.... read more

The gym and equipment is immaculate, and I've never had a negative interaction with a staff member. My gym membership fee was charged monthly to my credit card. My card number was stolen, and the bank canceled the card and sent me a new card with a new number. During this 5 day period, Bailey's Gym attempted to process the monthly charge. Been going to Bailey's since after High-school, and I have to say this is the worst Bailey's "Powerhouse" gym. There is not near enough equipment during prime hours. There is only 3 squat racks in the main room, and only 5 bench press benches in the entire gym. There are 3 deadlift flatforms/ extra squat racks, but they are not accessible during prime hours due to cardio classes. I Canceled my membership and was continued to be charged. Staff (Maurice fernandes) was rude and inattentive when I asked in person to be taken off list and for a refund. Maurice wanted nothing to do with helping me, and acted as if my inquiry and problem was bothersome. The corporate office was also very rude, short on the phone. As I explained my situation of canceling my membership, the billing department agent said that she had no record that I had made contact with the facility via phone.
