After being a member of another gym for many years I decided to make a change and join Bailey's new St Augustine location. After a few visits, I can say I am very happy with my decision. The gym is huge with plenty of equipment to choose from and is always clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you are looking to join a gym for the first time or just looking for a change I highly recommend giving Bailey's a try. You will be glad you did.
facility=10; customer service=2....it's a great gym, with all the bells and whistles. sadly, they oversell the hype of customer service. is the staff over-extended? under-trained? or just plain don't care? i don't know. but hopefully my poor experience won't be repeated for others. UPDATE: the first day this review was published, i got a call from the staff, seeking to make things right. while it would have been nicer to get that call BEFORE seeing a less-than-stellar review, i guess it's good enough to move a "2"... read more
the ppl up front are super big assholes! They wouldn't let my potty training daughter use the restroom. I could understand them saying no to an adult but a child seriously! If I could leave negative stars I would! I wanted to become a member but I'll take my money elsewhere!

Your one sided rules for starters...you single me out for using my neck harness yet you have no neck muscles machine available...NO different than using my wrist straps or my belt or any other equipment...YET you do NOTHING about these kids not following rules especially not cleaning equipment after using, hordeing dumbells ,sitting on machines on their phones,taking off their shoes working out barefooted..which stinks so bad you have to leave the area because makes you nauseous...Yet you give me some bs about using a neck ... read more

Once again management of chuze is disgusting...the gym has went steady down hill since taking over Baileys...they don't do NOTHING about these kids not cleaning benches/machines behind themselves, nor sitting on/ holding up machines on their phone,no gym etiquette, horde dumbells of several sizes so Noone else can use them ,YET they come to me and tell me I can't use my personal neck harness in which is necessary for my neck muscles that actually help with my past injuries...while right in front of them all these other rule ... read more

absolute trash tons of hidden fees and costs 80$ if you want to quit would not recommend. on top of that it's super crowded and the locker room is gross

It is ridiculous that I'm paying an upgraded membership to be able to use the "recovery room" BUT only if the front is staffed. The hydromassage beds should be activated by the key code and not by the front desk. There is no bathroom up front - you have to walk all the way to the back in the locker rooms. And that in the redesign they installed tanning beds which are known to significantly increase the risk of developing skin cancer seems counterproductive to a company fostering health and wellness. Loved this gym prior to the Chuze acquisition. Since then, it's underwent a slow and disappointing descent to a far cry of what it was. The renovation was quite underwhelming, no new benches or machinery that's commonly utilized. To make matters worse, they appear to have permanently discontinued the use of vehicle key compartment boxes and, approximately a month ago, changed the music from classic rock (which nobody complained about) to dreadful pop/hip hop music that many would consider inappropriate for family audiences.... read more
