New restaurant some friends wanted to try, so of course we had to stop by! We walked in and were greeted immediately by a super friendly host and taken to our seats in the dinning area. The waitress helped us make some selections from the menu based on what is the most popular! Food: They offer a gluten free fried chicken that we thought was fantastic! Love love love this place! The burrata, scallops, mushroom side..hands down favorites. So much so that I even got take out just for these things on a weekend night when I was solo. Pricey, but worth the drive over to pick it up. We recently were told they have an amazing burger. I can't wait to return to try it.
Citizen Souls has I'm to be the best over restaurant in downtown Alpharetta. The food is spectacular from the starters to the dessert. I was not disappointed. Out server Jack gave us the best recommendations. The quality of service and food was superb. Most tries- brussels sprouts, hanger steak, duck fat fries, and bread pudding. I wish I was able to take picture of everything, but they didn't stay on the plate long enough to capture! A 10 out of 10!
I have been twice now and really enjoyed both dinners here. Highly recommend the pimento cheese fritters! Servers were great and knowledgeable about everything! I thought it was a great step up from some of the casual places near by so perfect if you wanna dress up a little but not tooo much. Highly recommend!
Great meal on a busy night. Love love that they have so many gluten free options and a knowledgeable staff. I wish more restaurants were so accommodating in knowledgeable about gluten issues.
Another great dinner. I had the salmon and my husband had the tuna. Our friends had the burger and chicken. All delicious. We also had the short ribs wrapped in red pepper as a starter. The wine and cocktails were great also. One of our favorite spots for dinner.
Such a great place to catch me after a long day at work. Smooth glass of wine and an ammmmazzing charcuterie board. Will be back again-
We had a fantastic meal over the Christmas holidays. Solid hearty menu but a good array of options. Our server was lovely and made us feel welcome. Food was brilliant (couple of interesting side options but maybe I am just being picky) however the only reason this place is not getting 5* is because they served their MAIN's in BOWLS. Walking around Old Alpharetta and stopped into Citizen Soul bar for a lunch, they offer a few specials at the bar. Nice selection of wines and full bar. Enjoyed a rose to start ($11) and a patty melt with fried pimento cheese and their classic duck fries. The aioli sauce is a nice complement and treat - don't count calories here. Super satisfying. Bartender, Brett, was accommodating. Will be back for sure next time traveling through Atlanta 'burbs!
