I used to feel good about leaving my dog here, but that has changed. The lobby has overwhelmingly smelled like urine my last few visits. I can only imagine how filthy the rest of the building is. I've never experienced that at a doggy daycare before, and I've been to many. The last time I picked up my dog, I waited in the lobby for 15 minutes with another customer waiting for someone to come from the back to help us. We knocked on the doors and called the main line (no answer) to let them know we were there. And the wo... read more

I used to LOVE city bark (for two years) but recently have had experiences that are leading me to look else where. Once when I was out of town I checked in on the camera and saw my pup isolated alone in a room. I called to check in (assuming there was a logical reason). I was told she bit someone, which is extremely out of character. I took their word for it but asked what happened and no-one could tell me. I told them I wanted to know details, not because I didnt believe them but so that I could avoid that happening again ... read more

I never even made it in. I called to reserve boarding here and was told "no problem. We have plenty of room. Just bring your dogs in Thursday for an introduction." So I took time off work and we headed in Thursday, as instructed, and I was told they no longer had room. 2 days before our vacation. They told me we were good to go in the phone Monday. When I arrived Thursday, I didn't have a reservation at all. And the staff was rude about it. Won't be trying again.

My dog recently started going here and within a few weeks got kennel cough. She previously went to a different daycare and never got sick. She is up to date on all her vaccines. Also, at her previous day care she was always so excited to go and ran right in. However at City Bark she is very hesitant to go inside. I am disappointed as this is supposed to be an award winning place and it is very expensive, however we have had a consistent sub-par experience. We were not impressed by this place to begin with and after my dog g... read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE! I unfortunately had to witness one of their employees kick several dogs on the webcams and also slam one dog to the ground. I had been going to city bark lodo for over 5 years and with current employee turnover it has changed for the worse. My dog is my child so I take this very seriously. We will NEVER go back and if I ever consider doggie daycare again it will be a long vetting process.

The prices at City bark are outrageous! Boarding your dog should include some sort of daycare.. boarding prices on top of daycare prices are crazy high compared to other places. My dogs come back smelling like urine every time they board at this facility. Do not board your dogs here!!!

I would strongly recommend not to go to this place! Took my dog for the orientation, they said he didn't play wellalthough he loves dogs! To keep him segregated, would be less work for them. I was never able to see where he was staying, dropped him off, they rushed me out, lift dog bed and down comforter for what I know we're 3 Awful days... I received a call on evening 2,said he had not eaten, very stressed out, most likely! ! Returned on third morning, racing to get there, very stressful! They said he would be bathe... read more

We did not board our dog here, but used their grooming services. After reading all of the rave reviews on Yelp, I had very high expectations for City Bark, and I have to say that they did not live up to them. It took them almost 2.5 hours to groom our 35-pound border collie mix, and when she was done, she was really soft and her fur was very shiny and fluffy and she smelled great. But when we got home we noticed that she had a significant patch of something that looked like razor burn (?) on the inside of her groin, and man... read more

I've been taking my dog to a daycare in the Boulder area for over 5 years and have never had a problem. I just recently moved to Denver and took my boy to City Bark and when I arrived to pick him up they said they had problems with him being ''humped' by a lot of dogs that day and had a minor scratch on his belly from the mounting. So I paid them, took him home and took a closer look at his belly later that night and noticed not a minor scratch but 1 inflamed deep scratch (almost a gash) and a few other mid-minor scratches... read more
