My dog has grown up at City Bark and I have no complaints about the care, love, and attention he has received there. We have seen staff come and go the past four years but the one constant is the time each new employee takes to get to know not only my dog, but me, as well. There have been days when I have pulled into the parking lot and my dog was waiting for me when I walked in the door. I simply can't speak highly enough about the staff at City Bark. In addition to the staff, the facilities are top-notch and my friends... read more
G'Day Mates, I'm Maggie, a 3 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix. The next best thing to herding cattle in the outback (or my cats in the living room) is playing with my peeps (canine and human) at City Bark Lodo. I have been having fun there every week for about 2 years (almost my whole life!) My mom checked out a couple of places before deciding on City Bark, she says that she was impressed by the knowledge of the staff, how well they interacted with the dogs and the cleanliness of the facility. It is also very conv... read more
I hate to give this place away since i never have to make a reservation for phillip to go play, but it is a fabulous location for the kids! This is where i bring phillip when he's feeling needy. Originally we would go here just to get the special allergy type food for him, but when his brother passed away we started bringing him here once a week. They know him by name when he walks in and always give me an update when it's time for him to go home! The staff here is great! They love animals!! They seperate the dogs by "ty... read more
My dogs are the loves of my life (well besides my better half). So with that being said I was not excited to board them at all! However, City Bark is top notch. I've boarded Lava Girl there 2 times now, and she's had nothing but fun! For the first visit they took me on a full tour (Which I apprciated, since some places won't let you see past the front desk - sketchy!) and they also did a doggy introduction to make sure she would fit in. The place smelled clean, or as clean as a place full of dogs can smell :), the peop... read more
I'm extremely impressed with the LoDo City Bark location. Not only does the webcam monitoring system set my frantic mind at ease- I hate leaving my dog alone with people I don't know for a minute, much less all day- but the extensive introduction process which is mandatory for all new visitors makes me confident that my pup won't be exposed to any unvaccinated hounds or aggressive poodles. The playground equipment is fabulous- my dog's a fetcher, not a climber, so he wasn't terribly interested, but he did love playing catch... read more
I've been taking my dog here every Wednesday for over a year. This place is a virtual doggy funhouse featuring a swimming pool, underground tunnels for a great game of chase, and playground equipment. This communal environment is high on hygiene and the facility is bleached down daily. City Bark LoDo is as modern, functional, and clean as a doggy daycare can get. One of the best features for the protective pet lover is the camera system in every play area and allows dog owners to monitor their furry family members on-lin... read more
I am still in shock over our first (and certainly last) experience with City Bark Lodo. We brought our two dogs in for an evaluation a few months ago, and they seemed to enjoy the visit (hence two stars instead of one). However, when my husband went in to pick our dogs up, he was given the wrong black lab not once, not twice, but THREE times. After the first two mix-ups (and with a cranky toddler melting down), he was so relieved and eager to get home that he didn't realize the third lab was STILL not our dog. While they loo... read more

Hi Lauren, I am so sorry to hear about this experience you had at City Bark Lodo. I completely understand your frustration and want to assure you that we take this incident very seriously and have taken necessary steps to avoid problems like this in the future. As the brand new Resort Manager here at City Bark Lodo, I have focused on refresher trainings with our staff to provide the quality of care expected from our community. While this mark was clearly missed in your experience a few months ago, our newly implemented syst... read more
I booked my dogs evaluation the night before and had called TWICE to confirm he would be good to be dropped off the next morning. He got his approval email and when I showed up in the morning we were turned away. Front desk was SO rude didn't care at all that they just screwed up. Lady at the front desk only said "not sure why he was approved, he shouldn't have been but we aren't taking evulations today so we can't take him"....lack of communication in this place is insane, I was heading to the mountains and live 30 mins awa... read more

We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced at our Lodo location. I personally apologize that there was a miscommunication involving your dog's evaluation. I understand your frustration. The day that you came in we had ongoing construction in the facility and had to limit the number of dogs that we could have on site for safety reasons. I know there is no excuse for the miscommunication and poor customer service I have discussed this with our hosts, and they understand how they can do better. I am glad that 8th avenue... read more
I'm sad to write this, because our dog loved coming here. But we had an incident a few days ago where a friend who doesn't know our dog too well came to pick him up as a favor to us, and she was given the wrong dog who looked very similar. About 20 minutes later City Bark realized and called us, at which point an unfamiliar dog had been brought back and left in our house (probably confused and terrified). We still aren't sure of the entire situation because after setting a time to talk to the manager, we were completely gh... read more

Sydney, I apologize for any communication problems we've had. I've tried to contact the number on Howard's account, and I've emailed the email on the account and replied to the texts we received. In those attempts, I've given you my direct contact information so that you can reach me when it's convenient for you. I'd be happy to provide proof of my attempts at any time. I wanted to speak with you directly, but since I haven't been able to, I want to address this somewhere. There was a mix-up, and Howard has a clone! Pet ow... read more
