I came in for my first appointment with an NP. After being assisted by the MA, I was told she had a student WITH her. I assumed this had meant the student would be in the room or shadowing. But it turns out th student was doing my entire examination and intake. Let me be clear, this student was phenomenal. I could tell she really cared and wanted to do a good job- but I was taken aback by the fact the NP did not even check in and ask if its okay for her to do my appointment. I’ve currently been on hold for 40 minutes literally just trying to book an apt! I will say it’s a very nice and welcoming office. Visits aren’t usually too long BUT EVERY time you call they NEVER ANSWER. It’s like the number doesn’t even lead to the front desk you have to wait on an automated machine forever to MAYBE get through. So again, this is in fact a great office it’s just getting through that is absolutely ridiculous. I went to the Columbus Ob/gyn in Hilliard 3-4 times for irritation I was having down there along a 4 month time span. Was charged hundreds of dollars in testing and am still having problems 6 months later. I believe the doctor I was seeing was Dr. Brookes. I saw her each time, and she often had me repeat things I had told her in previous visits, which I can understand having so many patients. I love your staff and my doctor. I was just a little frustrated that I was there for over 2 hours. I had a mammogram appointment as well as my annual appointment. Each appointment in the rooms lasted less than 10 minutes each. I just wish this wouldn’t have taken up my entire morning. Even just some communication to know where I stood between appointments or that my doctor was running late would have been helpful. But both appointments were behind schedule. Office great. Check in personnel great. Susie is the best. But……. Your phone system is horrible. I kept trying to check to make sire weather didn’t close you and I could not get thru. 27 calls ahead is really pretty hard to believe. And the website wouldn’t let me use the contact request. Should have more staff in call center???
