My appointment was at 11 :00am. i was brought back to the room at 12:30 and then wasn’t seen until 110. Nurse practitioner spent about 15 minutes with me . The nurse practitioner answered the things that I needed to know, but did not feel that it was as thorough as it should’ve been. I believe that there needs to be something addressed about your time efficiency.

I used to have a positive experiences with Columbus OB/GYN. I have been a patient when they were in the Mount Carmel building downtown. I remained a patient after they moved to the Granville location. My visit on April 1, 2024, was a joke. They tried to charge me a 40.00 co-pay although my insurance doesnt require a co- pay for preventive visits. If they did, it would only be 20.00. I inquired as to why it was 40.00. I didn’t see my regular provider because the time available didn’t work for me. I met with Susie frost instead. I didn’t care for her bedside manner or level of care. She stood really close to me and didn’t verbally walk me through what she was doing during the exam. I told her I’ve had frequent yeast infections and she suggested I test for diabetes. I understand that miscarriages happen, but the insensitivity I felt through my experience here will resonate with me forever. For an entire hour before my ultrasound, they had us sit with an OB coordinator to talk to us about our pregnancy journey, gave us a welcome gift, reassured me at the meeting—and even worse, a phone call days before the ultrasound when I wanted to come in earlier because I was concerned—that the symptoms I was experiencing were nothing to worry about and there was no need to come in earlier. It took multiple calls to try and get an appointment (hold times of up to 30 other patients to get with a scheduler) I scheduled for the second appointment in the morning and still had to wait 20+ minutes. No explanation was provided as to why there was already a wait. I’ve been with the practice for a long time, and there is zero rewards for loyalty. Makes me consider looking at other options.

The office in Hilliard is pretty outdated. Dull, cramped, and stale, I found it off putting & neglected. I was to have testing done and told they would call. There was a mix up when finally scheduled. I was under impression I was going to the Dublin Hosp. When I had to have another test, I tried to combine the two. They could find no record of the first test. I had to call your ofc to figure out what happened. The scheduling staff there seemed confused & she contradicted herself several times. Nursing was unfriendly and seemed burnt out. Medical provider was condescending and appeared to have judgments related to my recent visits. Overall, I felt judged and am reluctant to continue seek care in the future due to feeling uncomfortable/unwelcomed. Additionally, it feels impossible to schedule an appointment that’s not 3-4 weeks out.

I was on time to my appointment but did have to wait an hour to be checked. For being a new patient, I wasn’t asked very many questions at all from the NP who saw me, not even if I have a sexual partner. Everyone was very friendly though which was great!
