I was asked to arrive early for my appointment then waited 30 minutes in the waiting room to be taken back. Concerns that I had questions were brushed off by NP.

If I could leave less than one star, it wouldn’t even do it justice. I was out of the country, they called me telling me I had to be on an antibiotic and I needed to go to the hospital immediately. The secretary or front desk person was insanely rude. She gave me horrible news and delivered it unprofessionally and inappropriately while putting me on hold 8 times without giving me an opportunity to ask questions and advocate for myself. I love Dr. Miller. She is great! She listens well and has great suggestions. However, she prescribed a cream for me and told me to come back to be checked in a month. My appointment was on Wednesday morning and the pharmacy still hasn't received the prescription (it is now Saturday ). I am frustrated because I have been to the pharmacy 3 times to pick it up and I have called the office 3 times. I don't know what else to do?

I saw a nurse practitioner who is not my normal provider. She did not seem very knowledgeable about IUDs and symptoms as my body adjusts to the device and no longer being on hormones. Additionally, there were no verbal warnings or communication with speculum or digit entry for a pelvic exam. Please educate all staff on the importance of this communication, as this experience can be very triggering without that trust.

My providers neglected to contact me after receiving the results of some important lab work I had done. In addition, my providers did not guide me on how to properly take my medications or explain to me that I needed to schedule a follow up visit for my condition. The office is also extremely difficult to contact and every time I called the office to get ahold of someone who could discuss my results with me, I had to wait a very long time to actually talk to someone. I will no longer trust this office with my medical care.

I feel that this office has gone downhill. I think that the communication to the patient is failing. I am a patient of dr houser and I have been waiting for calls back and I have never reviewed them. I think that she may need to stop taking new patients so that they can keep up with the current patients that they have. It’s disappointing. I’m thinking of looking for a new dr.
