Condo was not what I was promised. Needed updated had ottoman with shredded top, chunks of drywall out in several areas. Fridge froze over and ice maker not working and if you close freezer door fridge would pop open. Blinds missing slats causing master bedroom to have light coming in all night:(. And main area also missing slats and very difficult to open and close. Worst customer service experience ans Condo stay ever... do not stay at Cresent Towers 11
We have been going to Myrtle Beach for the past 13 years and have used many agencies to book our stay. All have been very accommodating until we booked this year with Condo World. We book a condo at Crescent Shores, when we arrived we found that one of the towers was under construction, which meant that the lazy river and hot tub was closed. I made a reservation to visit my father in North Myrtle beach in April 2017. He found out that he was going to move so I cancelled in September 2016. I called several times for a refund but was told they had to re rent the unit for the same week first. The unit was re rented but I have still not received my deposit refund. I called this morning and was told I would receive a call back in a few minutes which never happened. I called again and still no results. Make sure you take the travel insurance. Had reservations Oct. 2016 during Hurricane Matthew. Condo-World would not refund my money before the storm even though evacuation orders were issued. I asked if they would refund days I would miss if i was able to come later on the week. NO! ! This is so wrong. They closed their office for the weekend. security harassed, bullied, and had us living in fear for 5 nights and we left due to no one seemed to care. they would not move us to another property nor did they offer to refund any of our money. we could not use the balcony and had to keep our curtains closed but that did not stop the security from harassing us accusing us of smoking on the balcony when it WAS NOT US. there were 12 other balconies that were smoking and they did not say anything to those residents and we had pictures and showed management the pictures but... read more
So this was the second year we stayed with condo-world. We would not have stayed this year if it wasn't for the 100.00 certificate we had from last year. Last year our condo was filthy. The sheets had not even been washed. Well this year was not different. Our master bedroom smelled like cat urine. It was horrible. They tried to say it smelled like that because they cleaned carpets. My 2 year old had to go to the hospital yesterday because she got a peanut off the floor in the condo. She is very allergic. As we looked around later we found tons more. This pic was after the kids had thrown away a bunch before I told them to make a pile. So she isn't allowed outside in the sun till Thursday because of steroids.
