I was stuck in the waiting room for 1.5 hours even with an appointment. Is there a purpose to appointments ? I understand if the staff is busy but 1.5 hours is absurd. I saw people who came in after me maybe even walk ins treated and left before I was even taken to the room.

Please explain to patients, before they go back to see the doctor and spend money, that they are unable help with urgent mental health crises. It was not a fun or advantageous experience to have to talk about and re-experience the panic and crisis only to be told there is no help to be had and to call a referral that can’t see you today. The only other offering was to go to the ER. One other person in the waiting area when I was called back. Was given a COVID test and Flu test, was told it would take 10 minutes and the DR will be in, I sat in the exam room for 50 minutes before the DR came in. Examined me for Sinus infection symptoms and was told it was a common cold, he can prescribe me nasal spray instead of a steroid pack to get better faster. Showed up after work in my scrubs. I work at the Hospital. Got me in fairly quick. MA was good and friendly, also did my x ray. Waited way too long after the x ray to get out of there. I already had the results emailed to me and I had to get up and start walking out on my own. Staff were standing around and eating snacks and had to jump to attention when I was leaving. Never saw the Doc, nor received instructions, not that I needed them but that was unprofessional and disrespectful to an employee
